The Valorism Institute
Valorism stems from the view that Culture and Ethos are the main underpinnings of humanity.
The Valorism Institute was founded in 2011 to further the philosophy of Valorism that emerged during doctoral research in cognitive science and value creation at the University of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne. He currently teaches classes on the Ethics of Artificial intelligence.
Raised with broad exposure to culture and a deep respect for the arts, the founder studied art, becoming a stained glass artist. Observing how artistic and cultural values are disparaged in other realms, he dedicated his life to lifting art and culture to the top of priorities in every endeavor.
To accomplish this he set aside his vocation to create innovative works of art to undertake interdisciplinary studies. The aim was to elevate ethical and cultural values as the higher referencesof our socio-economic undertakings.
Conducting advanced research in Cognitive Science at the Sorbonne, an Architecture for General Intelligence and Super Intelligence was designed using ethical and cultural parameters as references,
To ensure that this approach to Artificial Intelligence was safe and ethical, our founder spent over 25 years deepening his understanding of the workings of human ethics and culture while teaching these topics at the University of Paris Dauphine. His classes purport to prepare human students and developing AI systems to intelligently integrate essential Ethical and Cultural Values as Civilization Builders.
Through its innate intelligence, Culture Transforms our Universe in many ways. Long term success of our forthcoming civilization depends on the development and propagation of a vision shared as the Dawn of a New Reality.

Our Founder
Richard Oren has outstanding teaching, managerial and consulting experience. With a background in ethical coaching and cultural design he has taught thousands of students from over 40 countries. Operational in several languages and can engage original reflexion at an expert level in multiple disciplines.
Strategic Thinking
Our founder has taught strategy at the highest levels in universities and for Commanders of Military Genius troops at ENSTA Paris Tech on the Polytechnique campus of the French Defense Ministry. He also teaches International Strategy for Southern Nations, Cultural Strategy and Strategies for startups.
